Our Journey

How do we partner with missionaries?

In my last blog I mentioned that missionaries cannot do their work without the help of partners. Partners invest in a nation through the specific missionaries they have connected with. And, there are 4 aspects to partnership that are necessary to complete the mission of God.
The first aspect is that we are partners in the gospel (Philippians 1:3 – 6). Paul uses a Greek word, koinonia, in this letter to make the point about partnership. Koinonia is most often translated “fellowship” but is just as accurately translated “partnership.” And Paul states we are partners in the gospel.

"…we work together to take the good news of life through Jesus Christ to every person on the planet."

What does it mean to be a partner in the gospel? It means we work together to take the good news of life through Jesus Christ to every person on the planet. Itʼs too big of a job for one person. We must all get involved. As we work together we see individual lives transformed by the power of God as they put their faith in Jesus Christ.
